Arthur Cox was a professor of psychology at Crawford Hall.
Arthur Cox wrote a book titled Modern Morality - Examining Societal Views & Belief Systems. He was accosted by a young girl who pretended to be a student of his. He invited her into his study and after she confessed to not being his student, he began eying the girl.
After he kissed her and opened his eyes, he found the girl had decaying skin. She threatened him and then sent him out the window. It was later revealed that this apparent spirit girl was actually an illusion created by the Trickster.
Sam and Dean later arrived at his office to investigate. According to Sam's recollection, Dean discovered and gorged on a bowl of nuts, while Sam interrogated the janitor that discovered the professor's body.
- Actor Barclay Hope later returned in season 10 episode "There's No Place Like Home" as Russell Wellington.
