Sam uses a ritual
The Cabirian Invocation is a ritual to break a spell or curse applied in a certain object. Rowena MacLeod explained to Sam Winchester to use this ritual, which she described as "good all-purpose disenchantment" to break any spell applied to any object. Sam intended to use it to disable the warding on the Werther Box but the ritual was not completed correctly due to Suzie's interference.
Procedure[]
The ritual is very simple. The user must prepare a mini altar consisting of a plate. An unknown purple flower must be put on the plate. A handful of yarrow powder is later poured into the plate and ignited. An Italian incantation must be recited:
- Purificare la magia!
Loose translation:
- Cleanse the magic!
After reciting the spell, fire will rise from the plate.
It's unknown what would happen later if this ritual succeeded, as Suzie's interference made Sam fail the ritual.
