|Well, congrats. You discovered it. You get to name it.|
Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is conjectural.
This unnamed spell was designed to speed up the deteriorating process of a human body. Rowena used the spell to accelerate the deterioration process of Lucifer's vessel, Vince Vincente, after she discovered that his vessel had started decaying.
The spell itself, according to Rowena, is mix of Latin-Sumerian (from the Book of the Damned) and Celtic magic.
To cast the spell, the user must paint a sigil with ash of a Hawthorne tree on the chest of the target. After that, the caster proceeds by surrounding the target with incense. After this, the user must recite a Latin word:
- Festina (means "Hasten" in Latin)
After the spell is casted the sigil wil emit a ray of purple light, and the deterioration process will take place.
If the caster wishes, they are able to banish the target by saying the words "Abi Aah", which will cause the sigil to glow once again and send the target to the bottom of the ocean.
- In Celtic tree astrology, one of the things (among the other things) the Hawthorne tree represents is the idea of duality, an outward persona which belies a different inner persona—much like angels taking vessels.
