Ephraim's vessel was a man who acted as the vessel for the Rit Zien Ephraim.
History[]
This man was married to a woman who he had a rocky marriage with. According to the sheriff of Rexford, Idaho, he wasn't entirely sane and eventually he became religious and fell under the influence of Reverend Buddy Boyle's preaching of saying "Yes" to angels, telling his wife, who was an atheist, to "let God in." When an angel approached him, the man consented to be his vessel and was thus possessed by the Rit Zien Ephraim who proceeded to kill his vessel's wife and three other people. At first this man was believed to be one of Ephraim's victims, but what was left of him wasn't found and after hearing of his connection to Buddy Boyle, Dean realized he was Ephraim's vessel instead of his victim. As he could no longer teleport, Ephraim used the man's truck to get around, allowing Dean to realize he was going after Castiel since he'd spotted the truck outside of Nora's house. The man was killed when Castiel killed Ephraim with an angel blade.
