Pierpont Inn. was the home of the Thompson family.
Overview[]
Sisters Maggie and Rose Thompson lived in this hotel with their parents. It was also the residence for many guests, two of whom were vice-presidents. One man's grandparents were saved to have become engaged here, along with many other couples. Sherwin described the hotel as a palace in its early days.
One day, Maggie drowned in the pool, and known only to Rose, Maggie's spirit stayed at the house. Through the rituals taught to her by her nanny Marie, Rose was able to keep Maggie at bay, preventing her dead sister from harming anyone out of jealousy or rage.
Years later, Rose's daughter Susan and granddaughter Tyler came to live in this house with the elderly Rose. Rose continued conducting the ritual to keep Maggie from coming near Rose's family. When Rose suffered a stroke that prevented her from moving or speaking, Rose could no longer conduct the rituals and Maggie's spirit was free to roam the house.
Maggie befriended Tyler as an imaginary friend. After Susan decided to close down the house and sell it to a company, Maggie became furious and began killing off anyone who attempted to touch her belongings. This escalated to the point where Maggie decided to kill Tyler too, so they could remain with each other for all eternity.
Hunters Sam and Dean Winchester intervened and rescued Tyler. Desperate to save her granddaughter, Rose offered to die in order to be with Maggie instead. Maggie accepted and Rose died shortly after. While Susan and Tyler left the house, the spirits of Maggie and Rose stayed behind, playing.
