At some point during her life, Renee and her best friends Amanda and Elizabeth formed a book club where they would have weekly get-togethers and share their opinions about authors and novels.
Unaware that Tammi was being possessed by the demon Astaroth, Renee and her friends unknowingly traded their souls to "Tammi" for power. Renee was later killed by Tammi after threatening her. Her death was later avenged when Dean killed Astaroth.
