Is Baby a Monster of the Week episode or part of the Main story?

Not a fan of the whole 'from the car' point-of-view; no real action. Then again, parts of the episode were very entertaining. The wer-pire and ghoul-pire thing was hilarious. Sam's dream was a head-scratcher; there's something off here cause that wasn't God nor was it The Darkness so who or what was Sam talking to?

A new monster species, now thats a move I didn't expect and it was a good one and it raised a crucial point; monsters are scared, they're panicking. They know what The Darkness is. But how? How do they know anything about it? Demons and Angels believed it was a bed-time story. Would they just go ahead and reintroduce Lucifer and Michael already? Its getting strained without them.Master-of-Spells (talk) 03:32, October 29, 2015 (UTC)

I think this is one of the better episodes in a while because there needs to be some break from the season's main arch. As for the identity of "John" in the dream, Sam has met him before, because "John" said something along the lines of "I never could trick you" whem Sam called him out. That would suggest to me that it was Gabriel, although it is out of his style to be so personable. We shall see. Lickjesse (talk) 01:31, October 30, 2015 (UTC)

It was probably Michael, however, I'm a bit confused as to how Sam's being communicated to, as archangels can't "whisper" through the door of the cage without the human sacrifice. -- ImperiexSeed, 9:56 PM, October 29th 2015
I think God just changed this rule ro allow Lucifer and Michael to communicate to the outside world. On the other hand, maybe he didn't, maybe the sacrifice was only necessary once. Lambda1 (talk) 08:27, October 30, 2015 (UTC)

I have a question.

Does anyone think Young John was in fact Michael, and not Lucifer? I mean, the Cage is damaged, and so Lucifer can reach out, but that means Michael can do the same, right? The reason I suspect the illusion of John being Michael is because he didn't behave like Lucifer at all. At least, not to me.

Any suggestions? Kajune (talk) 21:46, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
