Just wondering..[]
Is it ever said that they'res only one phoenix? or is this just a wild guess?
Hennessey Frost 11:17, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
- It's not said in Supernatural, but it is heavily implied (by how even Eve comments on how difficult it would have been to find), and in most real-world lore, there is only one phoenix.{{SUBST:KrytenKoroSig}} 06:20, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't mean anything. Phœnixes may only be very discrete, just like Dragons hid themselves for centuries. Also, it may be very complicated to kill a Phœnix. The only known way is to use a very unique weapon after all... 83.152.110.123 01:03, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
Okay I'll take regeneration, I mean it was shot, and didn't show any bullet wounds, and hanged, only to wake up later, but super senses? At what point did a phoenix show them? I don't remeber that from the episode. Can some one give an example, or I'll remove it. General MGD 109 (talk) 18:00, September 28, 2012 (UTC)
I have not watched "Frontierland" since earlier this year, but I do not recall the Phoenix displaying super senses either. 108.247.159.208 20:39, September 28, 2012 (UTC)
- Regeneration is the act of healing or revitalizing one's injuries, and frankly, such action was not shown on-screen. In "Frontierland", it's shown that he can die, but he's re-born, and his body doesn't seem to bear any of the damage done previously, so maybe he can regenerate in the sense of 'creating' a new body. -- ImperiexSeed, 11:35 PM, September 29th 2012
Phoenix vs Leviathans[]
An user thinks, Levs can't kill a Phoenix. It is implied that they could, as Phoenix are just monsters (minor beings) and angels are capable to kill them. It is your turn to argue now.Lambda1 (talk) 03:38, October 11, 2015 (UTC)
The an user was right phoenixs was never implied to be able to be killed by angels or leviathans on the show.--SPNfan7908 (talk) 03:54, October 11, 2015 (UTC)
Castiel's comment[]
The article states that, paraphrased, even angels do not know about the phoenix, as is indicated by Castiel's remark about 'this phoenix creature'.
I simply wish to make clear that this is an assumption; I doubt such a remark could ever be said to be made with absolute, definitive authority: three words with no real context other than what the viewer reads into.
Furthermore, angels may know of the Phoenix under another name; possibly they are legendary to angels, having gone "extinct" (so far as they are aware) early in the history of supernatural life on Earth.

Shapeshifting[]
I don't recall it ever being said phoenixes can shapeshift, nor do I recall such a power being demonstrated.76.79.254.2 23:40, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
