Season 14
So if you haven't seen the final for season 13 don't read any further unless you want to read a ton of spoilers.
So quick recap: Lucifer is dead, Jack is depowered, Heaven is running on fumes and billions of souls might descend to earth as ghosts and oh yeah, Dean let Michael in his body to fight Lucifer and of course Michael screwed him over and took control.
So, what will happen next?
Obviously the team is going to look for a way to save Dean and separate him from Michael. They could use the same device they used to separate Lucifer from the president back in season 12. But first they have to find Dean/Michael and since he is stronger then the original Michael something tells me he won't be so easy to bag.

The New Death
okay so we know that after Dean killed Death a new incarnation of Death appeared as according to the reaper Billie.
She also said the old Death allowed Dean and Sam to be constantly be ressurected because he thought it was funny but the new Death has ordered them to be tossed into the Empty so to make sure they never come back and cause more damage to the natural order.
So this makes me wonder. If the old Death could be reborn or replaced could that mean other primordial beings (God or the Darkness) be replaced if they died?
Death seemed ceartin he would one day reap God and this stands to reason the new Death could do that as well. If God was reaped could he be replaced by a new incarnation? The same thing with Amara.

Could Castiel become an archangel?
So we found out it took God and the four archangels to defeat the Darkness. But Michael and Lucifer are in the cage, Raphiel was killed by Cass and we are not sure if Gabriel is really dead.
Castiel is based on the archangel Cassiel in post-biblical Judeo-Christan religion. There are spells written that invoke his name for a number of purposes and his name would be written on ammulets for protection.
I figure if God was able to upgrade him once why not do it again? Unless he decided to bring back Raphiel so all four archangels can once again help fight the Darkness.

Lucifer and his Mark of Cain
So we found out in season 10 that the reason Lucifer went bad was because God gave him the Mark to keep the Darkness locked away but it was able to corrupt him. It has also been said that Lucifer didn't just give it to Cain nor did Cain just give it to Dean, it was copied onto them. So since Cain was killed and it was removed from Dean then shouldn't the Darkness still be locked away because Lucifer would still have had it.
Or could it be that the spell to remove the Mark didn't just removed it from Dean but also Lucifer even though he is in hell?
If that is the case maybe Lucifer will turn good and both he and Michael can help the brothers fight the Darkness.
The Darkness
So next season the Winchesters will be facing the most epic boss ever, a being God and his archangels fought. The Darkness, we caught a small glimpse of what this entity was like but how will it manifest itself?
Will it find a host? Will it manifest it's own form?
I for one am hoping it does neither.
I would like to see the Darkness remain unseen. But you feel it's influence in every episode. It never speaks to the brothers and they never actually meet it. It's like the air.
It can't be reasoned with, manipulated or stopped. It's just a cosmic force of nature and I like that better then the idea it can take on a physical form.
